The WA State Track & Field Relay Championships powered by Go for 2 & 5 will see athletes of all ages compete across a range of track and field relay events.
Entries for Centres/Clubs have closed. A reminder to all Centres/Clubs to complete the Team Details Form (see below). Please see below for entry information and team nomination details.

ENTRIES
Entries are only taken through Little Athletics Centres and Senior Clubs (no individual entries by members).
The cost per entry is $20.00 per team.
1. Little Athletics Centres and Senior Clubs must register teams online
- Little Athletics Centres via Results HQ (now closed)
- Senior Clubs via the Entry Portal (now closed)
2. Submit your final team by midnight Thursday 9th December by completing the relevant Team Details Form and returning to heath@athleticswest.com.au:

3. If you need to replace an athlete in your team:
- Centres/Clubs must complete the Athlete Substitution Form and submit this to the TIC no later than 45 minutes prior to the scheduled event.
ATHLETES COMPETING IN OLDER AGE GROUPS
For Little Athletics Centres who wish to submit a request for an athlete to compete in an older age group, please complete the Age Promotion Form and return to Athletics West prior to Sunday 5 December 2021.
TRACK RELAYS - LITTLE ATHLETICS
1. Athletes in the U9 to U17 age groups may participate as follows:
U9-U15, U17: 4 x 100m relay (heats and finals)
U9-U10: 4 x 200m relay* (timed finals only)
U11-U15, U17: 4 x 400m relay (timed finals only)
U15-U17: 4 x Distance Medley Relay (200, 200, 400, 800) (2 Male & 2 Female) See Rules and Regulations for further details
* RULE CHANGE: Please note the 4x200m Relay events will be run entirely in lanes. Please view the 4x200m Takeover Zone Map for clarification.
LITTLE ATHLETICS FIELD RELAY COMPETITION
The following events will be on offer for the Little Athletics Competition Field Relays.
U9 Girls & Boys Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Turbo Javelin
U10 Girls & Boys Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Turbo Javelin
U11 Girls & Boys Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U12 Girls & Boys Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U13 Girls Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U13 Boys Discus, Shot, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U14 Girls & Boys Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U15 Girls & Boys Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U17 Girls Shot, Javelin, Long Jump, Triple Jump
U17 Boys & Mixed Shot, Discus, Long Jump, Triple Jump
OPEN EVENTS (SENIOR CLUBS)
The following Open events on offer are as follows:
4 x 100m Women & Men
4 x 400m Women & Men
4 x Distance Medley Relay (1200-800-400-1600) (2 Male & 2 Female)
2 x Long Jump (1 Male & 1 Female)
2 x Shot Put (1 Male & 1 Female)
Senior Clubs are invited to submit ‘B’ teams for the Open Relays, where a lane/space is available, however ‘B’ teams are not eligible for medals.

CALL ROOM
Please note the Call Room will be in operation for both Little Athletics and Open Relay events and athletes are required to report to the Call Room at the scheduled time.
FOOTWEAR
Footwear rules, including the use of spikes apply as follows:
- Little Athletics events - as per the Little Athletics Rules of Competition for the 2021-22 Season U9-U10 age groups can not wear spikes, U11-U12 age groups may wear spike shoes in events run entirely in lanes (4x100m only), long jump, triple jump and javelin and U13-U17 age groups may wear spike shoes in all track events, plus long jump, triple jump and javelin. Spikes must be maximum 7mm pyramid / Christmas Tree for track events and maximum 9mm pyramid / Christmas tree for field events.
- Senior events - as per the 2021/22 Strive Program powered by Go For 2&5 Season Handbook, spikes must be 7mm pyramid / Christmas Tree for track events and 9mm pyramid / Christmas tree for Long Jump.
INFORMATION FOR CENTRES
SITE MARQUEES - Venue Map
We ask that each Centre bring their Coles and Go for 2&5 marquee as per the attached map, to provide enough shade for athletes, officials and volunteers throughout the day. If your Coles/Go for 2&5 marquee is damaged, please bring a plain marquee in it’s place. Marquees can be dropped at the stadium on Thursday afternoon (during the stadium opening hours 3.00-7.00pm), on Friday afternoon between 3.00-5.00pm or on Saturday morning prior to 8am.
