Registrations are now being taken on the day of the workshop!

In partnership with the WA Athletics Officials Club (WAAOC), Athletics West are pleased to offer FREE officiating workshops at Melville Athletics (south metro) and Joondalup Athletics Centre (north metro), from 8:30am - 1:00pm on Sunday 15 October 2023.

The workshops are designed for parent volunteers at Centre/Club level, providing you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to assist at your local competition.

Location:

• North Metro - Joondalup Athletics Centre, Santiago Park, Santiago Parkway, Ocean Reef.
• South Metro - Melville Athletics Centre, Len Shearer Reserve, Marcus Ave, Booragoon WA 6154

Program:

You can choose to attend one, or multiple of the following sessions:

8.15am                   Arrival
8.30am                   Discus and Javelin
9.30am                   Shotput and High Jump
10.30am                 Long Jump / Triple Jump
11.30am                 Track (Including starting)

The workshops are free and will be conducted by Athletics Australia accredited officials, so don't miss this opportunity to learn how to conduct athletics competition from some of WA's best officials!

What to bring & wear

• Please dress for the elements & be SunSmart: hat, sunscreen & appropriate clothing.
• Closed in shoes.
• Snacks/refreshments & water.
• Notebook & pen.
