All venue bookings and equipment hire must be confirmed with VenuesWest before submitting this request.

This booking form allows your school to request experienced Athletics Officials accredited with Athletics Australia to assist with the quality delivery of your school carnival.

There are several options available allowing each school / association the ability to find the best solution to suit their event requirements.

There are options varying from:

• Individual judges in each area;

• Electronic timing personnel only or a;

• Complete officials package with referees and judges

The Photo Finish package includes 2 photo finish operators, 1 accredited starter, starting equipment and set up.

To allow enough time to source the relevant officials it is recommended that any request is submitted a minimum of 21 days prior to your scheduled event.

All officials are engaged on the basis of full day carnivals not exceeding 7 hours, which includes refreshment break/s with lunch or the equivalent provided by the school.

An administration charge of a minimum $50.00 per carnival booked by the school/sporting group is applied to all bookings. Additional costs may be incurred if competition exceeds 7 hours.

In the unlikely circumstance that Athletics West cannot provide the requested officials, notice will be provided.

Officials operating outside the engagement of the Athletics West office will not be acting on behalf of Athletics West. Accordingly, all liability and responsibility for the official/s will rest with the organisation engaging the official.

Athletics West requires a minimum of 24 hours cancellation of any part of this request to avoid paying a penalty.

All costs detailed are including GST and are to be paid to Athletics West.
