VOLUNTEER ASSISTANCE
Volunteer Roster Coming Soon
We are contacting all parents/guardians of athletes registered for the WA State Combined Event Championships to select a roster(s) on either of the two days to assist our officials with the smooth running of the event. All of the officials that help deliver the Athletics West events are volunteers and cannot run the various Strive and State Event programs without the help from parent/guardian volunteers. If we do not have enough volunteers, the event will be delayed.

CALL ROOM
Athletes will be advised throughout the program via the Combined Events Referee when their next event will start and at what time they are to report to the marshalling area, this allows everyone to work through the program a lot more efficiently.
The Call Room will only be in operation for the first event for each age group. Athletes must report to the Call Room for the first event, 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Failure to report for the first event will result in the athlete being withdrawn from the competition.
For the second and subsequent events, athletes will report to the marshalling area located near the 100m start line. Marshalling times will be provided to athletes at the conclusion of their previous event, and/or be posted on a board at the marshalling area.
All athletes are required to report to the marshalling area prior to each event/discipline and will proceed to the start of their event accompanied by a marshalling official. Athletes who proceed to the event not accompanied by an official will only be allowed to compete in the event if the event has not officially started.
Please read the Rules & Regulations for further information on the Call Room.
