Athletics West are hosting Come & Try Strive powered by Go For 2&5 as part of Strive Special Program on Saturday 18 January 2025.

This event aims to support Little Athletics WA members in their transition to senior competition, through providing the opportunity for athletes to try an event at Strive with a Senior Athlete to support and guide them through the whole process, from arrival to competition.

Come & Try Strive powered by Go For 2&5 is open to non-members or current Little Athletics WA members in the U13- U17 age groups, who are not currently registered to compete in Senior Strive competitions.

The following events in Special Program will each have 8 places available for eligible Come and Try competitors:

• 60m Women: Athlete collection at 3:00pm 
• 60m Men: Athlete collection at 3:00pm 
• Shot Put Men: Athlete collection at 3:30pm 
• Javelin Women: Athlete collection at 4:15pm

Due to the structure of the event and the limited number of places, eligible athletes will only be able to select one event to participate in.

When registering, please:

• Enter the parent/guardian contact details under 'Basic Information' then athlete details under 'Additional Information' on the registration form.
• Select the ticket for the event you wish to take part in (0 to 1) 
• Note for Qualifying metric write a personal best or recent performance to assist in seeding for the event (60m: 08.22, Shot Put: 10.22, Javelin: 25.35)

The cost of entry is $15.00

Once an event is full, tickets will no longer be available.
