2024/25 Season Officiating Upskilling Sessions (North and South Metro)

In partnership with the WA Athletics Officials Club (WAAOC), Athletics West are pleased to offer FREE officiating workshops at Jandakot Flyers  Athletics (south metro) and Joondalup Athletics Centre (north metro), from 8:30am - 12.30pm on Sunday 13 October 2024.

The workshops are designed for parent volunteers at Centre/Club level, providing you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to assist at your local competition.

Location:

• North Metro - HBF Arena Joondalup, 25 Kennedya Drive.
• South Metro - Jandakot Flyers Athletics Centre, Botany Oval, MacQuarie Boulevard, Hammond Park.

Program:

You can choose to attend one, or multiple of the following sessions:

8.30am                   Discus and Javelin
9.30am                   Shotput and High Jump
10.30am                 Long Jump / Triple Jump
11.30am                 Track (Including starting)

The workshops are free and will be conducted by Athletics Australia accredited officials, so don't miss this opportunity to learn how to conduct athletics competition from some of WA's best officials!

What to bring & wear

• Please dress for the elements & be SunSmart: hat, sunscreen & appropriate clothing.
• Closed in shoes.
• Snacks/refreshments & water.
• Notebook & pen.
