The WA State 60m Championship is open to members affiliated through a Little Athletics Centre or Senior Club or an Athletics West independent member. If you have not currently registered for the 2024-25 Season, please visit our Membership page.
REGISTRATIONS
Entries close midnight Wednesday 5 February 2025.
Late entries are taken solely on the availability of a vacant position. There are no guarantees for late entrants. The number of available positions will be determined at the complete discretion of Athletics West, in line with timetabling considerations and lane availability.

ENTRY & ELIGIBILITY
The WA State 60m Championship is open to all Athletics West members and are affiliated through a Little Athletics Centre/Club or a Senior Athletics Centre/Club. There is no qualification criteria for this event.

UNIFORMS / FOOTWEAR / BIBS
Little Athletics Program WA athletes are to wear Centre approved uniform with their 2024/25 season bib number.
Senior Athletes wear their approved Senior Club/Independent uniform with their 2024/25 season bib numbers.
Athletics West will be enforcing the recent World Athletics Shoe Ruling for Open & Under 20 athletes. Click here for the current list of shoes deemed approved by World Athletics. Please complete the online Shoe declaration here.
PROGRESSIONS TO FINALS
If at the time of regristration closing and an event has 8 entrants or less, race will be progressed to a straight final and run at FINAL TIME.
Where regristrations exceed 8 entrants, race will be run as a Heats to Finals progression and conducted as per State Championship rules and regulations. See below:
Heats to Finals progression:
2 heats - first 3 and next 2 fastest progress
3 heats - first 2 and next 2 fastest progress
4 heats - first and next fastest 4
5 heats - first and next fastest 3
CALLROOM
There will be NO call room in operation for this event. Athletes are to marshal at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of their event at the appropriate starting area. In the marshalling area athletes will be expected to demonstrate to Officials that their competition uniform, numbers and shoes comply with the competition rules.
MEDAL PRESENTATIONS
After the results have been verified, medal presentations will be made as soon as possible after the event. Each athlete must wear their approved Centre (Little Athletics) or Club or Independent (Senior Athletics) uniform for the presentation ceremony. Medals will be awarded to athletes that place first, second and third.
