Under 7 and Under 8 Little Athletics members are invited to enter the 2025 Fuel to Go & Play Junior Challenge. The Fuel to Go & Play Junior Challenge incorporates a contest over the 60m, Turbo Javelin and Long Jump, concluding with a shuttle relay for our Little Athletes.

Entrants will compete in age groups (U7 Girls and Boys and U8 Girls and Boys) and rotate between events, with some of WA's best athletes on site to assist! Parents are welcomed and encouraged to volunteer on site. It's a great opportunity to hear from our elite athletes as they help run the event, and learn from our key officials. 

REGISTRATIONS

The Entry Fee for the event is $25. All entrants receive special gifts and a score card to capture their performances on the day.

Athletes and Parents/Guardians are invited to stay around after the Fuel to Go & Play Junior Challenge and enjoy watching some of the best athletes in the state take action in the Strive competition.

Only athletes affiliated with a Little Athletic Club & Centre and are born in the years of 2018 and 2017 are eligible to enter this event.

PARENT VOLUNTEERS

Parent Volunteer Registration

Parent volunteers will stay with the age group of their child and assist officials on the day with retreiving, measuring, and marshalling the little athletes. When checking in your child at TIC for the event, please tick off your name on the parent roster. Please ask TIC if you have any concerns. 

ATHLETE COORDINATORS

The 2025 Fuel to Go & Play Junior Challenge will invite four of WA's best athletes to mentor and guide junior athletes in their respective disciplines.

Each Athlete Coordinator brings extensive knowledge and expertise in their event, helping junior athletes develop their skills and progress efficiently.

BIBS & UNIFORM

All athletes entered in the 2025 Fuel to Go & Play Junior Challenge must wear their approved Centre Uniform. 

Athletes will be given a bucket hat and a lanyard upon arrive, retrieved from TIC. The lanyard will be used to record the athletes events results.
