Age Groups: Under 14, Under 16, Under 18, Under 16 Para, Under 18 Para
The 2019 Go for 2&5 WA All Schools Championships is the premier event for school athletics competition in the State. All school-aged participants (born 2002-2007) can compete against their peers from all schools.
The event is also the selection trial for the Australian All Schools Championships, which will be held in Perth this year (6 December - 8 December 2019), giving WA athletes a home-ground advantage for the national event.
Selection Policy for WA State Team
AGE GROUPS
Please note that the following age qualification guidelines will be applied for the 2019 WA All Schools Championships.
Under 14: Must be born in 2006 or 2007.
Under 16: Must be born in 2004 or later.
Under 18: Must be born in 2002 or later.
Please note the following additional criteria:
- Athletes must turn 12 in the year of competition in order to compete in these Championships.
- Athletes must be turning 14 years and over in the year of competition to compete in the Steeplechase.
