Are you interested in trying athletics or learning more about your event from the best athletes in WA?

Athletics WA in conjunction with Little Athletics WA will be conducting junior transition clinics prior to Go for 2 & 5 competition events. These clinics will be coached by some of WA's best athletes and coaches, and are open to all junior athletes who would like expert tips for the track and field season or for the WA All Schools Championships.

Registration for the clinics is free and open to members as well as non-members (born 2008 or earlier), however places are limited so please register early to avoid missing out. Please see the list below for our first round of transition clinics for the 2019/ 20 season;

Date: Sunday 20th October

8am - 8.45am - Steeplechase - Coach: Luke Graves, U20 3000m Steeple National Champion

8am - 8.45am - High Jump (Fully Booked) - Coach: Sean Szalek, U20 High Jump National Champion

10am - 10.45am - Hammer Throw - Coach: Olivia and Tim Lyons, Multiple state throws medals

Date: Friday 25th October - **All Clinics Now Full** - More clinics to be announced shortly including 2nd clinics in Sprint Hurdles and Block Starts

5pm - 5.45pm - Sprint Hurdles (Fully Booked) - Coach: Brianna Beahan, Australian Representative 100m Hurdles at 2019 IAAF World Championships

5pm - 5.45pm - Block Starts (Fully Booked) - Coach: Aaron Bresland, WA 100m and 200m State champion

5pm - 5.45pm - Javelin (Fully Booked) - Coach: Grant Ward, WAIS Throws coach and Athletics Performance Director

5pm - 5.45pm - 400m Hurdles (Fully Booked) - Coach: Alex Di Medio, WA 400mH State Silver Medallist (53.85 400mH PB)
