AUSTRALIAN HALF MARATHON CHAMPIONSHIPS | NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN

Nominations are now open for the 2024 Australian Half Marathon Championships which will take place on Sunday, August 11 at Alexandra Headlands Surf Club on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Athletics West can select six athletes, three male and three female, with the top three finishers in each team scoring points towards their state team result. The first three eligible men and women to finish the Half Marathon will be presented with Australian Championship medals. Gold, silver and bronze will also be presented in the men’s and women’s teams’ competition.
To be selected, athletes must have demonstrated the proven ability to complete the half marathon within the qualification standard set by Athletics Australia and must also nominate themselves using the online nomination portal before Sunday, July 7.
