AUSTRALIAN LITTLE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS CANCELLATION

Coles Little Athletics Australia, in conjunction with the Little Athletics Member Associations have announced the cancellation of the 2021 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC), due to the ongoing concerns related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the recent and unpredictable occurrences of lockdown measures. The decision is in response to the ongoing threat of community transmission outbreaks resulting in lockdowns impacting travel arrangements.
Athletics West will still announce a 2021 ALAC State Team following the WA Little Athletics State Championships. We are in the process of developing an alternative local event to offer to the athletes named in the team, which will involve awarding the ALAC State Team uniform, in light of the cancellation of the Championships. Further information will be released regarding this opportunity in the coming weeks.
