In 2021, we are ready to go faster and further, together! Athletics is back in 2021, bigger and better than ever before.
January will kick start our event calendar with a range of Go for 2&5 Friday Night events and major state events schedule to get West Australians up and active.

- January 19: Junior Carnival: Langford Park Sporting Complex

The Athletics West Junior Carnival provides the opportunity for children aged 5-9 to discover the basic fundamentals of athletics. Activities and games will assist participants to learn the basics of running, throwing, jumping and balance. Places are limited to 50 participants in each session. Whether you want to have fun, make friends and be active, athletics has something for everyone.

- 6:00PM - 9:00PM at the WA Athletics Stadium
- The Go for 2&5 Track and Field Season - Program C Competition is open to all members affiliated through a senior Club or registered as an Athletics West independent member. If you have not currently registered for the 2020-21 Season, please visit our Membership page.
- January 22: Go for 2&5 Track and Field Season - Program D
- 6:00PM - 9:00PM at the WA Athletics Stadium

Want to claim a state title?
- January 15-17: 2021 Country Championships

The 2021 WA Country Championships will be contested from Friday 15 January to Sunday 17 January at the Bunbury Regional Athletics Centre. The event will also play host to a Regional Go for 2&5 event with selected events being held over Saturday and Sunday.

The event is open to Little Athletics Members, Senior Club & Independent Members.

Non-members can also take part in the Go For 2&5 Program in Bunbury.

- January 30-31: 2021 WA State Combined Events Competition

The 2020 Athletics West State Combined Event Championships will be from the 30-31 January 2021. Age groups from Under 15 to Open will be contested and the event will be delivered under World Athletics rules.
