LAA and AA OneAthletics Announcement

Dear Members,
We welcome today’s announcement of the OneAthletics proposal by Athletics Australia and Little Athletics Australia.
The proposal marks a significant step in increasing efficiencies, improving pathways in athletics and attracting potential sponsors to ensure a successful and sustainable future for the sport.
We are proud to share in the OneAthletics vision, with the imminent co-location of Little Athletics WA and Athletics WA, and the implementation of the One Management Team structure currently underway in WA.
Today’s announcement is a great step forward for the future of athletics in Australia. The OneAthletics proposal provides further validation to the progress made towards becoming one sport in Western Australia. With both Chairs having had long involvement in both Little Athletics and Athletics WA, it is a particularly satisfying development for them.
