LITTLE ATHLETICS COMBINED EVENT CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAP

The WA Little Athletics Combined Event Championships presented by Go for 2&5 incorporated the traditional Little Athletics program alongside a senior event offering, delivering personal bests, championship titles and plenty of good sportsmanship on display amongst our competitors. 

We are pleased to announce UWA Little Athletics Centre topped the point score, with 53,790 points, ahead of Belmont Little Athletics Centre (33,938) in second and Inglewood Little Athletics Centre (28,160) in third place. 

There were many impressive performances over the weekend with 7 records broken across a range of age groups. 

Imoh Etim from Gosnells and Districts Little Athletics Centre ran 12.85 in the Under 11 Boys 80 m Hurdles, to set a new Little Athletics State Record and went on to achieve an overall point score of 1,913 to set a new Under 11 Combined Event Little Athletics Record. Palace Koia (Cockburn Little Athletics Centre) achieved 2,732 points to set a new record in the Under 12 Girls pentathlon, with further records also set by Aston Archer (Southern Districts Little Athletics Centre) with 3,889 points in the Under 14 Boys Heptathlon, Austin van der Struyf (UWA Little Athletics Centre) with 3,881 points in the Under 15 Boys Heptathlon, Jack Whiteside (Inglewood Little Athletics Centre) with 4,838 in the Under 16 Boys Heptathlon and Callum Fare (Belmont Little Athletics Centre) with 3,718 points in the Under 17 Boys Heptathlon.
