WA is set to make history next week with over 550 Western Australian Athletes named in the State Team for the 2025 Australian Athletics Championships set for Perth.
The record-breaking contingent will be led by Paris Olympic Champion, Nina Kennedy, and fellow Paris Olympian and Paralympians Kurtis Marschall, Rhiannon Clarke, Alanah Yukich, Peter Bol, Declan Tingay, Ella Pardy and Jackson Hamilton.
WA’s World Under 20 Athletes will join our Paris stars, looking to claim their own Australian title on home soil. Robert Marchesi-Scott, Amelia Rowe, Alexandra Griffin and Olivia Dodds are all set to make their mark on the Championships while mixing it with the rest of the country’s best.
Spread across nine days, the Championships are the pinnacle of Australian Athletics, with the Open Championships returning to the WA Athletics Stadium for the first time since 2010 and Juniors since 2015.
The 2025 Australian Athletics Championships will kick off with the Australian Junior Athletics Championships from the 4th to 8th of April, followed by the Australian Open and Under 20 Athletics Championships on the 10th to the 13th of April.
