UPDATE ON THE 2020-21 GO FOR 2&5 TRACK AND FIELD CALENDAR

On behalf of the Board and Staff, we would like to thank you for your understanding and commitment during this time to keeping our community safe. We understand that the lockdown and subsequent social distancing measures may have disrupted season plans and preparations for upcoming State and National competition.
We are pleased to announce, pending confirmation of zero new community cases before 12:01 am 14 February 2021, we will host an additional Go For 2&5 Competition on the morning of Sunday the 14th of February. We are working closely with Venues West, as well as State Government, to ensure the event will be in compliance with all venue, state and local government requirements.
The Go For 2&5 Competition will be based on Program B, with some additional events on offer to cater for athletes preparing for next weekend’s State Championships. Further information on this event can be found here. The State 5000m Championships will not be included in this program, but has been rescheduled for the evening competition on Wednesday the 24th February, to allow athletes adequate time to prepare for the competition.
As always, our events are not possible without the ongoing support of our dedicated officials and volunteers. With the additional events, we are seeking further support from the community to ensure we can deliver an effective competition.
